Why Trump and the Conservative movement won the 2024 election. From my Boca Rio review.
I get it that Trump is not everyone’s cup of tea but Judas Priest was Biden an idiot/thief/liar/flat out asshole and Harris would’ve been worse. The Biden years should go down as the worst four-year period in American history and record numbers of voters (swing states, unions, blacks, Latinos, women) simply saw through the MSM bullshit and the lie-after-lie con job that whoever was running the show (likely Obama) were trying to sell the public. To note, the five reasons for the conservative win:
- Inflation: What is the last thing you should do when post-COVID labor pressure is pushing consumer prices? Cut off domestic energy. As noted elsewhere, I am all for a renewable alternative, but before you cut off our own supply, you better have an infrastructure built. We don’t and the crippling fuel prices further drove up pricing because as you know, shit has to be transported from point A to point B right? Then you know, tightening federal spending would be a good idea as since the government has no money of its own and only spends taxpayer dollars, it would make sense to ease the tax burden. But no, numbskull broadened spending and debt like never before including paying people not to work during post-COVID which started the initial labor pressure inflation to begin with.
- Border: For fucksakes, the idiocy these douchebags wreaked. From the “there is no border crisis” to shipping illegals throughout the country to finally ‘fessing up there was an issue, blaming Trump for it, then suggesting a funding bill (with a ton of Green New Deal pork) that still would allow more illegals into the country than at any point in any previous administration’s governance. Now it’s the, “who’s going to cut lawns and clean houses without migrants” crap. And us conservatives are racist?!?
- Wokeism, DEI, Cancel Culture: I don’t know of one person who doesn’t want to give everyone a fair shot. But equal opportunity is one thing, hiring less qualified workers simply because they check a box of some sort is ruinous. Worse than that, how many people were cancelled saying they feel transgenderism is wrong and shouldn’t be pushed on our kids or down our throats? The trans community doesn’t give a rat’s ass about what a white, Catholic conservative thinks so why should I give a shit about what pronoun they want to be called today. I don’t. You’re gay, you’re gay, I don’t care as long as you’re a good human being. I have gay friends who are just that but even many of them think the level of trans-militarism has gotten out of hand. You want to cut off your wee wee, that’s good for you. Not paying for it and not celebrating you for it.
- Attack on all things conservative and January 6th aftermath: Imagine a hat that says “Make America Great Again” being banned? Never would’ve believed it but the left’s attack on all of us garbage, deplorables, and most definitely on Trump, got really old really quick. Then the overblown reaction to the January 6th protestors. An insurrection? A guy in a Viking hat and another with his feet up on Pelosi’s desk? Oh yeah the government was ripe to be toppled that day. Joke. That’s why the more they attacked Trump, the more popular he became. The liberals badly overplayed this because of their…
- Liberal Double Standard: They were guilty of everything they tried to pin on Trump. They had Hunter’s laptop spelling out the corruption and buried it. Then fuck-wad goes and pardons and pre-emptively pardons his whole family and that piece of crap Fauci. They should continue the investigation. Turn it on now that the DOJ is not under his purview, and once he is found guilty, every one of those pardons become null and void and we start taking down the Democratic crime syndicate. Then turn all hell loose on Fauci and China to compensate the American taxpayer for the two-year shutdown their gain-of-function virus created. And of course that they denied and called us conservatives, conspiracy theorists, until you know, it was, well, true.
